Under the ‘Push Notification’ tab on the dashboard, you can edit several elements of the push notification including the headline, message, and image. Tapcart syncs with your products and collections, so you can deep-link push notifications to take a user to a specific page within your app. You have the option to send a plain text push notification or rich push notifications. With rich push notifications, you can add a single image or create an animated lookbook with your products and collections.
Steps for Creating Your Push
Step 1
Select your push type:
Product will direct users to a single Products Details Page
Collection will direct users to the linked collection
Plain text will default users to the homepage of your app by you can change the destination
Custom allows you to direct users to any destination within the app
Step 2
Once you've selected a push type, add your 'Headline' and 'Message'. Please note, the headline will be bolded in the push.
Important Notes:
If you choose 'Custom' you will need to upload an asset to highlight in the push
Once you've uploaded the asset, you'll need to select the destination for your custom push
Step 3
Optionally you can add a segment of users to push to further personalize the message and content your. For more details on using segments and considerations review this article
Step 4
Once you've created your push you can send your notification in real-time by selecting ‘Send Push Notification’ at the bottom right-hand corner or to send at a later time select 'Schedule Your Push'.

JPEG, GIF, and PNG. We are looking into allowing audio and video formats in the future.
What is the max file size?
Asset size must be less than 1 MB.
What is the asset dimension requirements?
Width must be at least 300px, height at least 200px.

Homepage
Individual product
Collection
Multi-page
Custom URL (opens in-app via the web browser)
Does custom push work both on iOS and Android?
Yes, GIFs will only animate on iOS. Android will display the first frame.
Can I use emojis in custom push?
Yes, emojis can be included.
