The Loyalty experience in Tapcart helps you keep customers engaged and coming back for more. When you integrate loyalty directly into your mobile app, you can reward shoppers at every stage of their journey, whether they're browsing products or completing checkout, and you never have to send them off to a separate website or portal. Because loyalty features live natively inside your app, the experience feels seamless, which encourages repeat purchases and builds stronger customer relationships.

Loyalty Screens, Blocks and Features
The refreshed Loyalty Center introduces a modern UI and multiple in-app touch points for a seamless customer experience:
Loyalty Center (Hub): The central screen for loyalty. Shoppers see their points balance, tier progression, and quick links to explore rewards.
Rewards Summary: Displays the number of available rewards and links directly to the rewards screen for redemption.
Ways to Earn Block: Highlights opportunities to earn more points, such as downloading the app or enabling push notifications. This block is configurable in your loyalty provider's dashboard. Important: To enable this functionality, you will need to file a Custom Solutions ticket. For assistance, reach out to your Account Manager or contact us at [email protected].
Redemption Flow: Customers can view, redeem, and confirm rewards in-app. The product redemption block shows the transaction details including the reward title, current balance, redemption cost, and new balance.
Loyalty History: Displays earned and redeemed points in chronological order, from newest to oldest.
Supported Providers and Setup
Tapcart integrates with the following loyalty providers:
LoyaltyLion
Okendo
Rivo
Smile.io
Yotpo
You will need an active account with one of these providers and ensure it is connected as an app on your Shopify store. All reward rules, earning opportunities, and tier configurations are managed in your provider's dashboard.

Supported Reward Types
The following reward types are supported in Tapcart:
Fixed dollar discounts: available with all providers.
Percentage-off discounts: available with all providers.
Free shipping: available with Smile.io, Yotpo, and Rivo only.
Custom rewards and free product rewards are not currently supported.
Best Practices
Place the Loyalty Center prominently: Add the Loyalty Hub to your app's main navigation or home screen so customers can find it easily.
Promote earning opportunities: Use push notifications and in-app banners to remind customers of ways they can earn points.
Keep rewards simple and attainable: Offer a mix of low-threshold and high-value rewards so customers at every level feel motivated to participate.
Review your provider dashboard regularly: Since reward rules and tiers are configured in your loyalty provider's dashboard, make sure the settings reflect your current promotional strategy.
Considerations
Smile.io: Does not support redemption history or "Ways to Earn" blocks.
LoyaltyLion: Does not support click-through functionality on "Ways to Earn."
All providers: Referrals and SMS sign-up are not supported as ways to earn.
Birthday rewards: Not fully supported, as birthdays cannot be entered per customer within the app.
Page visits and social shares: Not supported as ways to earn.
