Bloomreach & Tapcart

With this integration, brands are able to leverage Bloomreach's Engagement product to bring together real-time customer & product data to create truly personal experiences. Orchestrate all owned marketing (Email, SMS & Push) inside of Bloomreach to bring Data, Campaigns and Analytics to your Tapcart push messaging.

Integrating your mobile app with Bloomreach allows you to send automated and segmented push notifications. By utilizing this integration you can:

  • Send automated rich push notifications based on user behavior

  • Unify all owned marketing channels (Email, SMS & Push) inside of Bloomreach

  • Deep link users to a specific product or collection inside the app

Prerequisites

Before getting started, make sure you have the following:

  • An active Tapcart account with a published or in-development app

  • Access to the integration partner's dashboard or admin panel

How to Connect Bloomreach + Tapcart?

Before your app can receive and show notifications, you’ll need to complete actions in both Tapcart and Bloomreach to set up push for iOS and Android.

Setting up Push for Android

To get started with the Android setup, please follow setup instructions inside of Bloomreach’s “Mobile Push Notification” documentation for how to connect to Firebase Cloud Messaging.

Setting up Push for iOS

For iOS, if you’re not aware of your iOS push credentials, please work with your Tapcart CSM to enable push credentials and create an Apple Push Notifications Key.

Connecting on your Tapcart Merchant Dashboard

Navigate to Tapcart’s Integration Hub inside of the dashboard to get started. Select Bloomreach and enter the following details:

  • Public API key

  • Project Token

  • API URL

  • App group

Note: All details above will be available inside of the Bloomreach product, if you’re having trouble locating them - please work with your Bloomreach CSM.

Supported Analytics Events

Standard events that are supported:

  • Create account

  • Login

  • Product viewed

  • Collection viewed

  • Cart updated

  • Checkout

The event sets and names will need to be configured by Tapcart so please work with Support or your Account Manager to add the additional information. The campaign events from push notifications are tracked by the Bloomreach SDK.

Sending Rich Push Notifications

For advanced use cases, you can also build push notifications in the code push notification builder within Bloomreach.
