What is Nosto?

The Nosto and Tapcart integration is used to convert more shoppers by enabling a search and merchandising solution right inside your app. This gives customers the ability to seamlessly find what they are looking for based on personalized data. To create a memorable shopping experience and thus lead to an increase in cart value, conversion rate, and retention with personalized search, PLP merchandising, and shopper insights!
How to Connect Nosto + Tapcart?
Here’s how to set up this integration:
The integration is available to Tapcart Enterprise customers and Nosto customers. For more information on Nosto Search, check out their website.
Steps
- Log in to your Tapcart dashboard and tap into ‘Integrations’
- Navigate and click on ‘Nosto Search’
- From here you will enter your Store ID
- This can be found on your Nosto Dashboard
- Then enter your optional Sorting details
- You will need to include the Sort field, Order, and Sort Name
- Prerequisite: Merchants will need to set up indexes via the Nosto dashboard (Sort field is mapped to Nosto: Search & Categories > Settings > Index Fields)
- The first sort option will default to Relevance however the Sort Name is configurable

- You will need to include the Sort field, Order, and Sort Name
Considerations
Nosto Search functionality will work with specific search events. Below, we've outlined which events will populate within Nosto Search and which will not:
- App exclusive products = Unknown
- App exclusive collections = Unknown
- Search merchandising = Yes
- Autocorrect = No
- Custom filters = Yes
- By photo = No
- Trending searches (default) = Yes
- Autosuggest searches (after first type) = Yes
- Recommended Products = Yes
- Recommended categories = No
- Collection merchandising = Yes
- Filters = Yes
- Dynamic Filters= ios Only
- Range type = No
- String type = Yes
- Predetermined filter/sort order = No
- Sort = Yes
