Integrating Rise.ai's Gift Card feature with Tapcart offers a powerful tool for e-commerce businesses. Here's why:

  • Enhanced Shopping Experience: Rise.AI's Gift Card feature allows customers to purchase and send digital gift cards. When integrated with Tapcart's mobile platform, customers can easily buy and send gift cards directly from your mobile app, enhancing the overall shopping experience.
  • Increased Sales: Gift cards often lead to higher order values as customers are likely to spend more than the gift card value. By making gift cards available on your mobile app through Tapcart, you can potentially increase sales.

How to Connect Rise.ai + Tapcart?

To set up the Rise.ai Integration:

To set up the Rise.ai Integration, please ensure the following is already set up:

  • Both Rise.ai and Tapcart are installed on your Shopify store
  • The Rise.ai gift card product is already created (Shopify admin -> Products)

If the Rise gift card product is not created yet, please follow this article

Setup Instructions:

Step 1: You have obtained your Rise.ai Tapcart API token. If not, please reach out to the Rise.ai Support team at info@rise.ai or your dedicated Account Manager.

Step 2: In Tapcart's App Studio, create a Custom Block by Launching the Blocks Editor.

Step 3: Paste the Relevant Code into Each Block Tab. Once the custom block is created, paste the appropriate code into each of the following tabs: index.html, styles.css, and scripts.js.

Important note:

  • Within scripts.js, there are designated placeholders (Lines 2 and 4) where you need to insert your Shopify URL and the API key provided by the Rise.ai team.

Step 4: Place the Rise.ai Custom Block within the Product Template. Drag and drop the custom block above the standard Add-to-Cart button

Step 5: Add a unique tag to the Rise.ai gift card product on your Shopify admin

  • In your Shopify admin, enter 'Products' and search 'Gift Card'
  • Find your Rise.ai gift card product, enter its page, and add a unique tag:

Step 6: Within Tapcart, add the above tag as a 'Conditional Tag' to the Rise.ai button

  • Enter the product page through 'App Studio' -> 'Product Detail'.
  • Place your mouse cursor over the button. The 'Conditional Tag' box will pop up on the right
  • Add the unique product tag that you've assigned to the product before

  • Make sure to 'Save & Update'

How Does a User Interact with Partner in-app?

  1. Initiate Gift Purchase: The user begins the process by clicking on the button labeled "Send as a gift".
  2. Provide Recipient Details: The user will then fill out the necessary fields, including the recipient's name, recipient's email, and a personalized greeting message.
  3. Select Delivery Date: The user has the option to choose a delivery date for the gift card. This can be either the current date or a specified future date.
  4. Add to Cart: Once all details are filled out and a design is chosen, the user will add the gift card to their shopping cart, ready for purchase.

Considerations 

  • Integrations are available to all Tapcart Enterprise customers with Custom Block enabled.
  • The Tapcart integration is available to Rise.ai customers that are subscribed to the Premium plan or above.
  • To activate the integration you’ll need your store’s Rise.ai Tapcart API Key. To obtain it, please reach out to the Rise.ai Support team at info@rise.ai or your dedicated Account Manager.
  • The button's design and style is based on your Tapcart's theme design. It is not customizable through CSS (if the code is customized, Tapcart's theme design will still override it). Tapcart's theme design is located in 'App Studio' -> 'Brand Kit', within your Tapcart dashboard.
