Klaviyos User Profiles
User profiles within Klaviyo will show every user that interacts with your brand on the web and mobile. When you click into an individual user's profile, you will be able to see every event that took place during their session.
Why You Should Care About User Profiles?
Having this insight gives you the ability to create more targeted marketing campaigns or flows to target those individual customers. Having more personalized marketing prevents customers from turning off your campaigns or reporting you to spam because they are receiving relevant content!
Using the data from your user profiles, you can then create a segment to start targeting those customers. Once a segment has been created, you will be able to see the total number of users and the individual profiles of each user that was automatically added to your new segment.
Leveraging Segments to Create Your Next Campaign
Now that you have a segment, you can use this information to start a push campaign to target your new segment of customers. For example, you could run a wishlist campaign for all users in your newly created segment.

Klaviyo Automated Flows
Segments are a great way to run an analysis of user behavior within the app. However, you may not always have the bandwidth to review and watch this information. That’s where the automated push flows are helpful. Klaviyos automated flows run off the same architecture as segments, where you can set up a trigger mechanism (an event) to make a user eligible to be automatically added to the push flow you are creating.
How to Build Automated Push Flows?
You can create automated push flows by navigating to ‘Flows’ on the left side menu and selecting ‘Create Flow’. From here you can select the trigger mechanism (an event) to automatically add users to your flow series. The following push flows we recommend setting up are:
- Welcome Series
- Order Fulfilled Series
- Abandoned Cart Series
- Added to Wishlist Series
- Back in Stock Series
Important Note: If you wish to integrate Klaviyo with your Tapcart account, during implementation, your Implementation Specialist will automatically set the above flows up for you.
