Due to App Store and Google Play restrictions, all apps that allow the creation of accounts must also have a way to delete accounts. Apps that do not meet this App Store guideline get rejected from updates and the consumer experience degrades. While this may seem impactful the frequency of your consumer's doing this is quite low and is rarely impactful to any merchant in aggregate.
In order to comply with this, we have implemented a mechanism to do so in our apps.
Steps to delete your account:
Login to your mobile app account
Look for the Delete Account button at the bottom of the page
Click and confirm account deletion
Considerations
Deleting the account within the app is a permanent action. The user will not be able to retrieve the content, information, or past order history association with the account for that store on any device.
