To configure AppsFlyer correctly, you will need to first create your iOS and Android app within AppsFlyers’ dashboard. In this article, we will walk you through the steps on how to complete this for both your apps!
Steps for Creating Your Android App
Navigate to the AppsFlyer Dashboard
When you are initially setting up your app within AppsFlyer select ‘Add App’ in the right corner
Select the app type ‘Mobile’
Chose ‘Android’ and select App Store status as ‘In store’
To add your Google Play URL, open your Google Play Console in a separate window
Click into your app in the Google Play Console
Select ‘View on Google Play’
Copy the URL of your Google Play listing
Open AppsFlyer again and paste the URL in the respective field
Tap ‘Next’
In the next step, you will enter the timezone and currency
Select 'Save' and you're all set!
Steps for Creating Your iOS App
Within your AppsFlyer dashboard select ‘Add App’
Select the app type ‘Mobile’
Choose ‘iOS’ and select App Store status as ‘In store’
To add your App Store URL, open your App Store Connect account in a separate window
Click into ‘Apps’
Click into ‘App Information’ and tap ‘View on App Store’
From here you and copy the App Store URL
Navigate back to AppsFlyer and paste the URL into the respective field
Enter the time zone and currency information
Select 'Save' and you're all set!
