The LoyaltyLion Loyalty and Tapcart integration creates an App-First Loyalty experience with push messaging that drives customer engagement. Shoppers can easily view points and tiers, redeem rewards, and earn perks for app-specific actions like downloads and push opt-ins. Your app becomes more than a sales channel—it’s a direct line to your best customers, where every session is a chance to engage, reward, and retain.
Loyalty Center
New to our LoyaltyLion integration, is our dedicated Loyalty screen that is nested under the Account page. This new page is meant to be the HQ for Loyalty and built to drive customer engagement. Through displaying available points and current tier to displaying the various ways to earn for your brand in particular – this page helps customers understand how to engage with your Loyalty program, improves customer loyalty and ultimately drives customer lifetime value.

Fixed Rewards & Product Redemption
Our new integration allows for streamlined point redemption throughout the shopping journey. Through the Redemption Drop Down, users are easily able to see what products or perks are available to be redeemed using the points they’ve accrued. Users can also see how many points they’d need to redeem other products to encourage additional spending or engagement with the brand.
App-Focused Rewards
Incentivizing customers to convert to the app has never been easier with our new Loyalty integration. Brands can now easily reward customers for downloading the app or for opting into push notifications. Reward customers for joining your highest LTV channel and even encourage new customers to make their first purchase in the app.

Our LoyaltyLion experience supports both New Customer Accounts and Classic Accounts.
Note: Using App Studio, brands are encouraged to bring Loyalty to life through brand-aligned imagery, colors, text and themes.

How to connect LoyaltyLion Loyalty + Tapcart
The integration is available to all Tapcart customers who also have LoyaltyLion Loyalty. In the steps below, we will walk through all the required fields you will enter when connecting this integration.
Steps
Sign in to your LoyaltyLion account and then go to Manage > API keys, then click Create API key and follow the steps to create a new API key with the permissions you need.
The API token will be displayed after creation; be sure to save it in a secure location as it cannot be seen again.
All Headless API endpoints require a site_id in the path, e.g. GET /headless/2025-06/{site_id}/configuration.
This is the ID of your site in LoyaltyLion. You can find it by signing into LoyaltyLion - it’s the number after the /sites/ part of the URL, e.g.
Navigate to Tapcart’s Integrations page
Find and click ‘Connect’ on the LoyaltyLion Rewards app
Tap the ‘Settings’ tab
Copy and paste both the ‘LoyaltyLion API Key’ and ‘LoyaltyLion Site ID’ values in their respective fields in the Tapcart Dashboard on the LoyaltyLion Rewards integration page
Select ‘Save & Enable’
Setting up your Loyalty Experience
In App Studio, you will see a new screen option in the Screens dropdown for Loyalty. Within Loyalty there are 4 Screens you can configure:
Loyalty Center - This is your main Loyalty Page that the customer will see when they access My Rewards/ Loyalty from the Account screen. To Navigate to this screen from any other blocks or your navigation tabs you just need to set the screen destination to “Loyalty”
Loyalty Redemption - This screen is actually presented as a drawer in the app that activates from the Loyalty Rewards drawer when a user selects a reward to redeem. The Redemption drawer contains a block that will take users through the flow of actually redeeming a reward. This is where we display the reward details, number of points the reward costs, and a CTA to redeem that reward and apply it to the cart.
Loyalty Rewards - This screen is also presented as a drawer in the app that activates from the Loyalty Rewards Summary block. The block within the drawer shows the user a list of available rewards in the app and allows them to see which ones they can redeem from that list
Loyalty History - This screen is also presented as a drawer in the app that activates from the Screen Links “View History” link. The block within this drawer shows the user a ledger of all of their past earnings and transactions in their loyalty account.
In order to Launch your new loyalty experience, you must publish all 4 of these screens as you would any other App Studio Screen.
Make sure you have a way to get to your new Loyalty Center by ensuring there is a Link to Loyalty from the Account Hub, an Image Block from the Home Page, a Navigation tab in your bottom navigation menu, or an icon with the Loyalty destination set on your header!
The final block you will want to add to your Loyalty App experience is the Loyalty Rewards Summary block within the Cart Screen. This block allows users to add their loyalty rewards directly from the cart without having to exit the purchase flow!
Note: All Loyalty blocks are eligible to be added to your Account page as additional surface area

FAQ
How can I hide or re-arrange my ways to earn?
In our new Ways to Earn block, there is a setting that allows you to rearrange your ways to earn cards in whichever order you want and give you the ability to hide any that you do not want to display in the app.
I added a new Ways to Earn, why can’t I see it in the Tapcart Dashboard?
If you have previously rearranged your Ways to Earn cards, when you add a new campaign to your ways to earn, you will need to go to Ways to Earn Block Settings and click the “Reset” button in the Loyalty Settings section so we can pull all of the new options for you.
Note: This will reset your ways to earn back to the original order and visibility. Make sure to go in and reapply your adjustments before publishing the block.
