The Gorgias + Tapcart Custom Code Blocks allows you to offer your customers the support they need in a quick and personalized way, directly from your app. This integration, powered by Code Blocks, allows you to turn your in-app customer support into a profit center.
How to Connect Gorgias + Tapcart?
To set up the Gorgias Custom Code Block:
Custom Code Blocks are available to all Tapcart Enterprise customers and all Gorgias customers. For more information on Gorgias, check out their website.
- If you need assistance embedding the code, please contact your Account Manager to enable the custom block
- If you have developer resources, you can use grab the code here, to enable the custom Gorgias block
How Does a Consumer Interact with Gorgias in App?
The code block will use the Gorgias Application ID and a Gorgias install script to create the chat experience within your mobile app.
Once the Gorgias block is implemented in your app, the customer will be able to use the chat just as they would on the website.
As the chat grows, the content becomes scrollable, so we recommend having this block placed on a dedicated ‘Chat’ page within your app.
How to Find Your Gorgias Application ID?
- Go to 'Settings' and select 'Chat'
- Pick the Integration that you want to connect and then navigate go to 'Installation'
- Select 'Custom Installation' → 'Google Tag Manager
- From here you'll find your 'Chat App ID'
The Gorgias Custom Code Block is only available to Tapcart Enterprise customers.
