In this article, we will give a brief overview of each section you can review within App Store Connect’s Analytics section.
Overview
App Store Connect provides data on app install conversion rates. This is the rate at which App Store users see your app listing (impressions) and how many users commit to downloading the app (conversions). Within the ‘Overview’ section you can view total impressions, product page views, which refer to your app listing, conversion rate, and more!
Acquisition
Within the ‘Acquisition’ section you can view all your download sources and where your product page views are coming from. You can change the data this graph is displaying by clicking into the drop-down menu on the top right-hand corner of the page.
Metrics
‘Metrics’ by default will show how many product page views you are receiving per day throughout the specified time period. You can change the data this graph is displaying by clicking into the drop-down menu on the top left-hand corner of the page.
Retention
‘Retention’ will show you the percentage of users who download your app and how many activated the app after the initial download.
