What to do if your App is Crashing?

In this article, we will review our troubleshooting process to resolve your app from crashing.

Step 1: Force Quit the App

The first step to troubleshooting your app is simply to force quit the app. This will determine if your app simply needed a refresh or if you need to further investigate the issue.

Step 2: Confirm the Device is on the Latest Software Version

If the app is crashing on the reported device, confirm the latest software version is installed.

  • For Apple devices, navigate to ‘Settings', select ‘General’, and then ‘Software Update’.

  • For Android devices, near the bottom of 'Settings', select ‘System’, and then ‘System Update’.

If you have the option to download a new version please follow the steps on your device and then test the app again.

Step 3: Confirm Your App is on Our Latest Build

It is recommended you chat in with our Support Team every quarter to request an update of your app’s software. To ensure optimal functionality of your mobile app. If your app is crashing, the build of your app could be affecting this.
