Klaviyo: Setting Up Add to Wishlist Flow

Setting up an automated wishlist flow creates a custom touchpoint with your user by engaging over the product they recently favorited. In this guide, we will walk you through how to set up this automated push within your Klaviyo account.

Steps

  1. To get started, select 'Create Flow' and 'Create From Scratch'

  2. Enter the name and tag of your push flow, then select 'Create Flow'

  3. Click on 'Metric' to set up your flow trigger as 'Favorited Item'

  4. Under 'Flow Filters' select 'If someone has a push token'

  5. Set a time delay for when the push will be sent, we recommend 2 days

  6. Next, tap on 'Configure Content' to enter the copy for your push notification

  7. Here you can enter the 'Title', 'Body', and turn on the 'Sound' and 'App Badge' features for your push. Select 'Save Content' to move to the next step.

    • Important Note: Use this text, ##{{ event|lookup:'Product Title' }} within the body of your copy to auto-fill the product the individual customer added to their wishlist.

  8. Next, you will add another time delay for the next push notification to send within this series. We recommend setting the time delay for 3 days.

  9. Enter your second push's copy, following the same steps as listed in 'Step 7'. Select 'Save Content' to move on to the next step.

  10. Once completed your 'Add to Wishlist' flow should look like the image below. Select 'Save & Exit' to create your new flow series.
