What Tapcart handles vs. what you need to do
Prerequisites
Legal entity status: Your business must be a Corporation, LLC, or Limited Partnership. Sole proprietors must update their business structure before proceeding.
Active Shopify store: You must have a live, paid Shopify store connected to Tapcart.
Active Tapcart subscription: A free trial is sufficient for design and preview, but you'll need an active plan to submit your app.

Total estimated timeline: From sign-up to live app is typically 1–3 weeks, with the biggest variable being Apple Developer enrollment (which depends on DUNS processing and Apple's review).
Tip: Start your DUNS number request and Apple Developer enrollment as early as possible — these have the longest lead times and are often the bottleneck.
