Account & Billing Overview

Your Tapcart dashboard's Settings section lets you manage your account details, subscription plan, add-ons, and billing information. This guide covers everything in the Account & Billing area.

Account Settings

Navigate to Settings → Account & Billing in your Tapcart dashboard to view and edit:

  • Shopify URL: The Shopify store connected to your Tapcart account. This cannot be changed — if you need to connect to a different store, contact our Support Team.

  • Name & email: The primary contact for your account. Keep this up to date so you receive billing notifications, app status updates, and support responses.

  • Phone number: Optional, used for urgent communication during app submissions or critical issues.

  • Password: You can update your Tapcart dashboard login password from this section.

Plans & Pricing

Under the Plans section, you can view your current plan and pricing. From here you can:

  • Upgrade your plan to access additional features

  • Downgrade your plan if you need to adjust

Tapcart bills through Shopify, so your Tapcart charges appear on your monthly Shopify invoice. No separate credit card is required.

Add-Ons

Below the plan selection, you'll find the Add-Ons section. Available add-ons include:

  • Insights Pro: Advanced analytics and reporting for your app's performance

  • Developer Tools: Custom Blocks, Web Bridge SDK, Data Streaming, Sandbox Environment, and more. See Tapcart Developer Tools for details.

Add-ons are billed as an additional monthly charge on top of your base plan.

Updating Your Payment Method

Since Tapcart bills through Shopify, your payment method is managed in your Shopify admin:

  1. Log in to your Shopify admin

  2. Go to Settings → Billing

  3. Update your payment method there

Changes to your Shopify billing will automatically apply to your Tapcart charges.

How to Cancel Your Subscription

To cancel your Tapcart account:

  1. Navigate to Settings → Account & Billing in your Tapcart dashboard

  2. Scroll to Billing Information at the bottom of the page

  3. Click Manage

  4. A pop-up will appear — select your current plan to view details

  5. Click Cancel Subscription

  6. Review the contract term information (if applicable) and select Confirm Cancellation

What happens after cancellation:

  • Your app will remain live in the App Store and Google Play until the end of your current billing period

  • After the billing period ends, the app will no longer sync with your Shopify store and will eventually be unpublished

  • Your Tapcart dashboard access will remain until the end of the billing period
