An active Judge.me account
The Platform-Independent Review Widget enabled in Judge.me (required — see setup steps below)
Your Judge.me Shop Domain and Public Token
Access to your Tapcart Dashboard
How to Connect Judge.me + Tapcart
Step 1: Enable the Platform-Independent Widget in Judge.me
Log in to Shopify Admin and open the Judge.me app.
Go to General Settings > Advanced.
Enable the Platform-Independent Review Widget.
Copy the script that appears and extract two values: SHOP_DOMAIN and PUBLIC_TOKEN.
Step 2: Connect in Tapcart
Open your Tapcart Dashboard and navigate to Integrations > Judge.me.
Enter your Shop Domain and Public Token.
Click Save & Enable.
How to Add the Judge.me Reviews Block to Your App
Open App Studio in your Tapcart Dashboard.
Navigate to Screens > Product Details.
Locate the Judge.me Reviews Block and drag it to your preferred position.
Click Publish.
Current Limitations
Read-only: Customers cannot submit reviews from within the app.
No PLP star ratings: Ratings appear on the PDP only.
The Platform-Independent Widget must remain enabled in Judge.me — disabling it will break the in-app display.
Troubleshooting
Reviews not showing: Verify your Shop Domain and Public Token are entered exactly as they appear in the Judge.me widget script. Even small differences (extra spaces, missing characters) will prevent reviews from loading.
Cannot find credentials: Re-open the Platform-Independent Widget setup in Judge.me (General Settings > Advanced) — both values are embedded in the generated script.
