Requirements
An active Yotpo account with reviews enabled
Your Yotpo App Key (found in Yotpo Settings)
Access to your Tapcart Dashboard
How to Connect Yotpo + Tapcart
Log in to your Shopify Admin and open the Yotpo Reviews app.
Navigate to Settings within the Yotpo app.
Copy your App Key.
Open your Tapcart Dashboard.
Go to Integrations, locate Yotpo Reviews, and paste your App Key.
Click Save & Enable.
How to Add the Yotpo Reviews Block to Your App
Open App Studio in your Tapcart Dashboard.
Navigate to Screens > Product Details.
Click the Integrations dropdown in the block list.
Locate the Yotpo Reviews Block and drag it to your preferred position on the PDP.
Click Publish (or save as Draft/Schedule if preferred).
What Your Customers Will See
Once live, customers visiting a product page will see Yotpo reviews displayed inline on the PDP, including star ratings, written reviews, and any customer-submitted photos or videos (UGC). Reviews are presented in a scrollable format.
Current Limitations
Read-only: Customers can view reviews in-app but cannot submit new reviews from within the app.
No PLP star ratings: Star ratings display on the PDP only, not on collection or listing pages.
UGC (photos and videos in reviews) is supported and displays correctly in-app.
Troubleshooting
Reviews block not showing: Double-check your App Key is correct and that Yotpo reviews are enabled and published on your Shopify store.
UGC images not appearing: Confirm photo/video reviews exist in Yotpo and that UGC is enabled in your Yotpo settings.
Block not appearing on PDP: Confirm you have added the block via App Studio and published the change.
