What this email is
Meta sends a developer notification titled something like v20.0 upgrade reminder. It typically says:
The merchant's Meta app currently has access to an older Graph API version (example: v20.0).
That version reaches the end of its 2-year lifetime on a specific date (example: 24 September 2026 for v20.0).
They should migrate calls to a newer version (example: v21.0 or higher).
Meta points them to the API Upgrade Tool, the changelog, and the App Dashboard.
This is about the Graph API version selected on their Meta developer app. It is not a request for Tapcart to ship a new Facebook SDK build, and it is not a Dashboard Integrations change. It's best practice to set the upgrade dropdown to the latest version and save so the reminder goes away and the app stays on a supported version.
Who does it
The merchant (or their agency / whoever owns the Meta developer app) can do this. It is a short portal change.
Steps (Meta developer portal)
Open https://developers.facebook.com/apps/?show_reminder=true and log in.
Select the Meta app (confirm it matches the Facebook App ID in Tapcart Integrations if there is more than one app).
In the left nav, open App settings, then Advanced.
Find the Graph API version / upgrade dropdown.
Set it to the latest option (or the version Meta requested in the email, such as v21.0 or higher).
Click Save changes.
