History Change log

Updated over a week ago

Most screens in your app will offer a History tab which will allow you to see previous versions of a screen that you shared with customers as well as archived draft layouts. This change log is a great way to triage a customer support concern, review performance changes from content edits, or get inspiration from previous app designs. Any previous screen version can be republished live or you can use it as the starting point for additional changes as a new draft.

How to use the History Change Log

  1. Navigate to the screen you’d like to see the history of (e.g. Product Listing Page).

  2. Beneath the Publish button on the right, click the History tab.

  3. You’ll see a list of archived layouts, ordered by most recently archived at the top.

  4. From there, you can click on the “...” to either create a new draft or schedule the layout to be published.

Use Cases

  • Resurrect Seasonal Campaigns: Let’s say you ran a very successful Black Friday/Cyber Monday campaign last year, but you’ve since made many changes to your Home screen. Now, you can look through the past versions and schedule that Black Friday/Cyber Monday screen for publication.

  • Revert an experiment: Maybe you tried something new this week and it didn’t work out as well as you’d hoped. Just revert to the previously published version by creating a draft and then publishing it.
