Klaviyo Reviews is a product reviews solution built into the Klaviyo platform, helping brands collect, analyze, and display customer reviews alongside their existing email and SMS marketing data.
If your store already uses Klaviyo, connecting Klaviyo Reviews lets you consolidate review data inside the same platform and surface that social proof on your mobile PDP.

Important: Setup Complexity
Klaviyo Reviews uses a Custom Block setup rather than a native Tapcart integration block. This means you'll be working with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript templates rather than a simple toggle-and-configure flow.
Many merchants work with an agency partner or Tapcart's Pro Services team for this setup. If relying on Pro Services, factor in lead time as availability may affect your timeline.
Note: The standard Klaviyo marketing integration (email/SMS) is a separate setup from Klaviyo Reviews. Connecting the standard Klaviyo integration does not automatically enable reviews in your app.

An active Klaviyo account with Klaviyo Reviews enabled
Your Klaviyo Company ID
Access to Tapcart's Custom Block builder in App Studio
The Klaviyo Reviews HTML, CSS, and JavaScript templates (available from Tapcart's GitHub or provided by your CSM)
How to Connect Klaviyo Reviews + Tapcart
Locate your Klaviyo Company ID in your Klaviyo account settings.
In your Tapcart Dashboard, navigate to App Studio.
Create a new Custom Block.
Copy the HTML, CSS, and JavaScript from the Tapcart Klaviyo Reviews templates into the appropriate fields in the Custom Block editor.
In the JavaScript file, locate Line 1 and insert your Klaviyo Company ID.
Optional: import custom fonts to match your brand styling.
Save and add the Custom Block to your Product Detail Page in App Studio.
Click Publish.

Current Limitations
Read-only: Customers cannot submit reviews from within the app.
No PLP star ratings: Reviews display on the PDP only.
Custom Block setup: This is not a native integration block β it requires working with code templates. Updates to Klaviyo's review system may require manual updates to your Custom Block.
Troubleshooting
Reviews not appearing: Confirm your Company ID is correctly entered in the JavaScript file (Line 1). Verify that Klaviyo Reviews is enabled in your Klaviyo account (not just the standard email/SMS integration).
Unsure which Klaviyo integration you need: Klaviyo Reviews (this article) is separate from the standard Klaviyo marketing integration for email/SMS. Contact your CSM if you're unsure which you have set up.
