TrustSpot + Tapcart

TrustSpot is a customer reviews and ratings platform that helps eCommerce brands display product ratings and reviews to build trust and improve conversion rates.

Connecting TrustSpot surfaces your product ratings and reviews on your mobile PDP, giving shoppers the social proof they need to complete a purchase.

Requirements

  • An active TrustSpot account

  • Your TrustSpot API Key (found in TrustSpot Dashboard > Account Settings > General tab)

  • Access to your Tapcart Dashboard

How to Connect TrustSpot + Tapcart

  1. Log in to your TrustSpot Dashboard.

  2. Click your account name in the top left to open Account Settings.

  3. Navigate to the General tab.

  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and copy your API Key.

  5. Open your Tapcart Dashboard and navigate to Integrations > TrustSpot.

  6. Paste your API Key into the field provided.

  7. Click Save & Enable.

How to Add the TrustSpot Reviews Block to Your App

  1. Open App Studio in your Tapcart Dashboard.

  2. Navigate to Screens > Product Details.

  3. Click the Integrations dropdown and locate the TrustSpot Reviews Block.

  4. Drag it to your preferred position on the PDP.

  5. Click Publish, or save as Draft or Schedule as needed.

Current Limitations

  • Read-only: Customers cannot submit reviews from within the app.

  • No PLP star ratings: Ratings display on the PDP only.

Troubleshooting

Reviews not appearing: Confirm your API Key is correct. The key is at the bottom of the General tab in Account Settings β€” scroll all the way down.

Block not showing on PDP: Confirm the block has been added in App Studio and published.

API Key not working: Try regenerating your key in TrustSpot and re-entering it in Tapcart.
