Reviews.io is a review platform that helps businesses collect, manage, and display customer reviews across multiple online channels. It offers automated review collection, rich snippets for SEO, and integrations with major eCommerce platforms including Shopify.

Connecting Reviews.io to your Tapcart app brings your product reviews and star ratings directly into your mobile shopping experience, giving customers the social proof they need to make confident purchase decisions.

Requirements

  • An active Reviews.io subscription (see pricing plans)

  • Access to your Tapcart Dashboard

How to Connect Reviews.io + Tapcart

  1. Open your Tapcart Dashboard.

  2. Navigate to Integrations > Reviews & UGC > Reviews.io.

  3. Click Connect Integration.

  4. Click Save & Enable.

How to Add the Reviews.io Block to Your App

  1. Open App Studio in your Tapcart Dashboard.

  2. Navigate to Screens > Product Details.

  3. Scroll down to the Integrations section in the block list.

  4. Locate the Reviews.io Block and drag it to your preferred position on the PDP.

  5. Click Publish, or save as Draft or Schedule as needed.

What Your Customers Will See

Once live, customers visiting a product page will see Reviews.io reviews displayed on the PDP, including star ratings and written reviews. Reviews are pulled directly from your Reviews.io account.

Current Limitations

  • Read-only: Customers can view reviews in-app but cannot submit new reviews from within the app.

  • No PLP star ratings: Star ratings display on the PDP only, not on collection or listing pages.

Troubleshooting

Reviews block not appearing: Confirm the Reviews.io block has been added via App Studio and published. Make sure the integration is enabled under Integrations in the dashboard.

Reviews not loading: Verify your Reviews.io account is active and that reviews exist for the products you're viewing in the app.
