The Collections List is a browsable menu of your collections — think of it as your app's shop navigation. It is a separate screen from the Collection page, which shows products within a specific collection. The Collections List helps customers find and navigate to the right collection before browsing products.

Accessing the Collections List

Hover over App Studio and select Screens
Click the screen dropdown and select Collections List

Layout Options

The Collections List supports several layout styles, such as:

Text-only list
Two-column image grid
Full-width editorial banners

To configure the layout, click Edit on the Collections List block and use the AI, Visual, or Dev tabs in the right rail. Under the Visual tab you'll find:

Menu Content — manage which collections appear and in what order
Collection List Settings — control grid columns (1–4), spacing, and whether to fill extra grid spaces

Individual Collection Settings

Click into any collection within the list to:

Upload a custom image
Set a destination link — collection, product, URL, screen, or subcollection
Add subcollections that nest under a parent collection

Pro tip: If you want a customer to tap a category and navigate directly to that collection, do not add the same collection as a subcollection — this will create a redundant level of navigation.

Multi-Tab Collections List

If your store has distinct customer segments — for example Men and Women, or different product categories — you can split your Collections List into multiple tabs. This turns the top of your Collections List screen into a tab bar, with each tab showing a different set of collections.

The multi-tab option is found under the Header settings of your Collections List screen, not in the block settings themselves.

Publishing Your Changes

Collections List changes are saved as a draft and won't go live until you publish them. When you're ready, click Publish in the top right corner, or use the Schedule option to set a specific date and time.
